Recently, The Department of science and technology of Jiangsu Province issued the publicity of the proposed projects of the special fund for carbon peak and carbon neutralization scientific and technological innovation in 2021 (the first batch). Pengfei Group Co., Ltd., located in Hai'an, Jiangsu Province, "R & D and industrialization of pyrolysis technology and equipment for clean utilization of low-grade coal" The project was approved and publicized. The use of rotary kiln pyrolysis technology for upgrading and clean utilization of low-grade coal is the first in China. The project has been authorized with 10 invention patents and 9 utility model patents.

The project of "R & D and industrialization of pyrolysis technology and equipment for clean utilization of low rank coal" is jointly implemented by Pengfei group and Tsinghua University. It pioneered the integrated quality improvement process and complete set of technical equipment for drying and pyrolysis of low-grade coal, coal gas circulating heat carrying dry quenching process and intelligent control technology of pyrolysis system, and solved key technical problems such as manufacturing of large-scale key parts of pyrolysis rotary kiln, control of sliding rate difference of involute gear pair, super large-diameter dynamic sealing, self-positioning sliding shoe support and gear matching forming processing method.

 

The implementation of the project will promote major scientific and technological breakthroughs in the clean utilization of low-grade coal in China, accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation of energy and the peak of industrial carbon, build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system, and enhance the international competitiveness of energy-saving and environmental protection equipment.
